Setting Up Scam Detection

Follow these steps to configure scam detection for your PhoneShield number:

  1. Navigate to Security Settings in your dashboard

    Access your dashboard and find the Security Settings section

  2. Select the PhoneShield number you want to configure

    Choose which of your PhoneShield numbers to set up scam detection for

  3. Select your Scam Detection level

    Choose from Standard, Enhanced, or Maximum security levels

  4. Configure detection sensitivity (optional)
    • Balanced: Fewer false positives but may miss some sophisticated scams
    • Aggressive: Maximum protection but may occasionally flag legitimate calls
    • Custom: Fine-tune specific detection parameters for your needs
  5. Save Changes to activate your settings

    Click the Save Changes button to enable your scam detection configuration

Important Note

Enhanced and Maximum security levels are available on Plus and Business plans. If you're on the Basic plan, you'll need to upgrade your subscription to access these advanced security features.

  1. Go to Advanced Settings in your dashboard
  2. Find the "Risk Thresholds" section
  3. Adjust individual thresholds for different types of risk indicators:
    • Unknown caller risk (60-95%)
    • Behavior pattern risk (70-90%)
    • Voice analysis risk (65-95%)
    • Content risk (75-95%)
  4. Save your custom thresholds
